How Will My Order Ship?

American Primers will ship your order via UPS Ground. We ship to the lower 48 states. We DO NOT ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, APOs, or P.O. Boxes.

Shipping Firearms

Handguns ship 2nd Day Air, and long guns ship Ground. All firearms must be shipped to an FFL Dealer for a NICS check and transfer. Please note: firearm transfers are subject to an additional fee set by the dealer.

Shipping Primers and Gun Powders

Primers and gun powders are shipped via UPS Ground. Due to their hazardous nature, these items require special handling and are subject to additional shipping fees. We ensure safe and compliant transportation to your specified address.

Shipping Insurance

American Primers offers shipping insurance on every order to ensure proper and safe delivery. The entire purchase price of the damaged or lost merchandise is covered. Due to the unique nature of the products we sell, we only accept returns and apply shipping insurance if the actual cartridges or primers are damaged in transit. Superficial damage to packaging does not qualify for a return, insurance claim, or discount. Examples include dented corners on packaging, scratches or dents on ammo cans, or cracks within plastic packaging, which would not qualify for a return and would not be covered under the shipping insurance.

UPS Weight Restrictions

We can only ship a package up to 45 lbs. If an order exceeds this weight limit, a new package and label will be created. Please keep this in mind when having items shipped to an FFL Dealer. There may be an additional charge incurred to you (the customer) by the FFL Dealer for multiple packages.

Order Cancellation

You can cancel your order up until the pick slip is printed and your order is in the process to be packed and shipped. After that time, we are unable to cancel your order. If the order has shipped and a tracking number is available and you refuse delivery, a 10% restocking fee will be applied.

Incorrect Shipping Address

If you have supplied an incorrect shipping address and call before shipment, we can correct the address at no charge. If your order has been shipped, an address change fee per package will be added. If you refuse delivery, a 10% restocking fee will be applied.

Ammunition, Primers, and Firearms Returns

Due to legal and safety regulations, ammunition, primers, and firearms sales are final and do not qualify for a return.

Non-Ammunition, Primers, and Firearms Returns

(Examples: Gear, Clothing, Targets, etc.)

We offer returns or exchanges on clothing and gear items within 30 days of purchase.

Returns:

• Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging.
• Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.
• A 10% restocking fee will be applied.
• You can return your product for a refund to the original payment method, less the restocking fee.

Exchanges:

• Free exchanges for the same SKU.
• Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original product packaging.
• Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.

Exceptions:

• Discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Any issues or discrepancies with your order need to be reported within 14 days of shipment.
